The city itself is very nice, in particular the 17th century old town. Surely a great location for those who like travelling by trains (although located north of the trunk railway from Zagreb to Belgrade). also a good starting point to other places in Slavonia, Syrmia and Baranya (like the Kopacki Rit wetlands).
A lovely part of Croatia, not overrun by tourists. Fine restaurants specializing in delicious local Slavonian cuisine.
I loved Osijek. Beautiful old town still holding true to its Slavonian culture. I would highly recommend going to the Fortress 'Tvrda' for some history and sightseeing and then a walk back into town along the shoreline.

What not to like?! Modern and stylish apartment with everything you may need in you travel adventures and visiting beautiful Osijek and Slavonia. Walking distance to centre (5min walk), view of beautiful river Drava, quiet neighbourhood, self-check-in, WI-FI, Internet, free parking, excellent communication with host. There is really nothing I can complain about.

The breakfast was very tasty and I liked that some Slavonian delicacies are also offered for breakfast. The guesthouse was pleasant to stay in, very neat and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Sauna and free parking space is definitely an additional plus for the hotel. We will definitely come again.

The best apartment in this part of Slavonia. Looks like hotel inside. Very clean and modern. The hosts are extremely kind. Highly recommended if you come to Dakovo.

This accommodation has it all. We were happy to finish our journey in such a beautiful and relaxing manner. The room is big, the bed is soft, the bathroom is very clean and there is AC in a secluded area that grants a good night sleep. Check-in was easy, the owner has a recording explaining all the rules in our language, which is very helpful for people that don't speak English! We highly recommend this place!
