To wake up, have breakfast, and dinner with the beautiful Atitlan Lake and volcanos just in front of you, is unforgettable. Jochen, Gaby and George are the best hosts, they take care of every detail. Gaby recommended a great tour, and arranged everything for us. Jochen prepared the most delicious food and cocktails, and George was very attentive and prepared a wonderful lunch too! We stayed in the big room and it was so comfortable and spacious, we didn’t want to leave… We have had the opportunity to travel a lot, and The Picnic Atitlan is one of those places that will stay in our hearts forever!

The room was marvellous, spacious, with a hammock- terrace with direct view over the lake and to the volcanoes. Would have stayed mach longer if I could... a good place to forget time. And last but absolutely not least: everyone working there was family-like wonderful... thanks so much.

Staff is very attentive since the very begging. The house is magical. It has several different areas where you can relax or havings meals. Our experience was truly amazing. Food is good, but no amazing but is always well presented. You cant miss the JC french toast, that is the best french toaste ive ever had. Wine list is small but good. Extra thank you to Christian and Darwin for all your help. Our room was so spacious and clean with incredible views, we were given a free upgrade which we really appreciated ! The food in the restaurant was exemplary and the cocktails delicious!
