Boasting a privileged location, 300 metres from the gate of Monemvasia’s castle, Malvasia Traditional Hotel offers stone-built units most with views over the sea. Absolutely everything was top! We decided to stay one extra night and the hosts moved us to another property for that night. So we had an experience of living in two apartments at Malvasia. Both were simply excellent! Traditional yet stylish interiors, very cozy and decorated with great taste. The living rooms were spacious and the bedrooms of decent size. Two bathrooms, both with the shower are essential when you travel in a company, so we could enjoy them without wasting time for queueing. Breakfast were beyond our expectations. All sorts of homemade pies, fresh juice and lemonade, local products like yoghurt, honey, jams, nuts. It was impossible to try everything they offered coz the stomach capacity is limited. :) But we could easily live until our late dinner on that breakfast. The location was great, and the view from the Malvasia apartment's terrace was breathtaking. The hosts were friendly and helpful, especially we appreciated the carrier's service, so we didn't need to carry our luggage through the cobbled streets and stairs. It was important for me because I had a surgery short before the trip. Many thanks, we'll definitely come again.

I would visit here over and over again! Only a few minutes drive from the medieval fortress.

Elia Laconias
The apartment is located in Elaia Lakonias at a very nice spot, close to Monemvasia, Elafonisos and Gytheio which can be reached in about half an hour by car. The whole building is located just in front of sea. We were given the 1st floor apartment, which is quite new and modern and which has a nice terrace from where sea view is excellent. Owners were leaving at the next apartment and were quite polite and ready to assist with anything needed.
We got a comfortable room, with a beautiful view and a a nice clean bathroom.
The cosy, authentic atmosphere. We got an unexpected upgrade of our room and were treated with a beautiful breezy room with sweeping views and a terrace with comfortable sunbeds. The personnel is very friendly and always at your service. The breakfast is fresh, extensive and a good balance between healthy and sweets. The breakfast terrace looking out on the sea is lovely and shaded. We also loved the calm swimming pool (no music, serene atmosphere)

Accommodation had a very nice view, it had a very clean and sunny room with wooden beamed ceilings and wooden floor. Mine had a large TV, bathrobes, and slippers on the bathroom, safe box and minibar in the room. Breakfast buffet with local dishes was served in the hotel's dining room. This area functions as a restaurant for the rest of the day. Fair rates for the season, so I would love to go again for more days.

recently stayed at the Castello Antico Hotel with my family for 4 days, and I can honestly say that it was a real gem. The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Mavrovouni, on the Mani Peninsula in Greece. The setting is absolutely stunning, with the hotel overlooking a beautiful sandy beach and the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Greek style, with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings, and traditional wooden furniture. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and all have balconies or terraces with stunning views of the sea. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a memorable stay. The breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh local produce. The hotel also has a lovely pool area, which is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. We had a wonderful time at the Castello Antico Hotel, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in Greece. The place is a combination of some the most amazing scenery we ever saw and some the best food we ever had. In fact, every detail is of the best quality: the room’s design, the bed and mattress, the landscape and the hospitality. Talking to Kostas, it’s clear that he cares deeply about every aspect. And again, the food was unbelievable. We kept talking about it long after we left. We had breakfast AND dinner, and highly recommend both.
