Very warm welcome even though we arrived later than we had informed due to the inevitable roadtripppring unpredictability. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, like electric kettle, mugs, wardrobe, mirror, hairdryer and portable heater. Our room opened to a most gorgeous patio+green area. The hosts were kind and attentive at all times. Hearty breakfast! Great energy! It honestly felt like home. Thank you and see you next year!

With a 2AA Rosettes restaurant and a bar, The Peppermill Town house Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of Devizes town center. It is situated right slap bang in the middle of Devizes. The room was large and quiet and very clean. The staff were exceptional. We ate in the restaturant at night and the food was brilliant. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

Located in Lower Chicksgrove, 2 miles from Tisbury, Compasses Inn offers accommodations with free parking, free Wi-Fi, a pub, and a restaurant. Fantastic people and atmosphere at the Compasses Inn was exactly what we were looking for during our trip to the countryside of the UK. We stumbled upon a festival and had a great time at The Plum. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. One of the few places where dogs feel great and can enjoy the time with their owners. Really recommend this accommodation for all those that seek tranquility, nature, lovely people and tasty food with some local beers and vines. Everything was authentic, fresh and locally-made. Hands down the best English breakfast we ever had and probably the coziest and most picturesque cottage we have seen.

Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa is a spectacular country-house hotel with Michelin Star dining. It is 6 mi from Bath within a private 500-acre estate with a walled garden. Beautiful English country house hotel - with lovely English country gardens. Staff were a particular strong point. We had a group with numerous dietary requirements which were all met and delivered without any fuss. Service in the Michelin rated dining room was first class at dinner. Very pleasant areas at spa, both inside and outside, to relax in whether or not having treatments. Overall an excellent hotel experience.

Located in Amesbury, in scenic Wiltshire, The George Hotel, Amesbury, Wiltshire is a 5-minute drive from Stonehenge. We absolutely loved our stay at the The George Hotel, Amesbury. Beautiful accommodation, excellent location ,very recently renovated to the very highest standard. Our room, which faced the front of the Hotel, had large opening windows and was very luxurious. The king size bed was the most comfortable we had experienced in the 6 weeks we had been travelling in the UK. The bathroom, with a shower with a glass door, was perfectly appointed - also loved the bath products. Just a beautiful room, we felt very spoilt. The restaurant and bar areas were also beautifully appointed with luxe decor and sumptuous furnishings. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive and went out of their way to attend to our requests. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and, again, the food was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would highly recommend. We would definitely stay at The George Hotel again.

We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.

Tollard Royal
The inn is off the beaten track and was chosen by us as a base for walking the downs of South Wiltshire; with excellent walks from the doorstep and dozens more a short drive from our base. The staff were particularly friendly; the cooked breakfast, using local produce, a well prepared treat. Although very much a “pub with rooms” rather than a hotel, this was little hardship as the dining/bar area was a charming place to relax (serving Butcombe’s great range of ales) and was by no means noisy when it came to bed.
Good quality breakfast included in the room rate. Hotel has free parking with easy access to and from the M4 motorway and easy access to Wiltshire and the surrounding areas. Staff were polite. Room was clean. Green Kings first purpose built built hotel type accommodation has a similar feel to a Premier Inn. Breakfast is served next door in the Churchill Grill where you also have the option for an evening pub type meal, with other eating options available locally.
Amesbury
Excellent location for visiting historic Wiltshire or,as we were, attending a function at a local military base. The staff were very friendly and the Shepherds Hut's are an wonderful 'different' place to stay and avoid the usual 'bland' hotel box room. It was a unique experience that provided an excellent alternative accommodation option that was in keeping with that part of Wiltshire. Overall a brilliant experience.

Spacious, beautifully appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a soaking tub. The hotel’s historic elements have been thoughtfully preserved but it also had stylish modern touches. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Ideally located to explore this part of Wiltshire, with a pretty garden and roaming peacocks (apparently a thing in the town). Would love to return in fall or winter as the room invites staying in.
East Knoyle
This beautiful little cottage in a quiet valley in Wiltshire was amazing, you’re not a customer in a hotel you’re a welcome and valued guest. Debs greeted us with abounding friendliness and conversation. Ate at the fox and hounds which was really good chow. Returned back to find fire lit and sat watching a spot telly in a very comfortable front room. Absolutely recommend. Thanks Deb and James.
Lovely location with beautiful views over the Wiltshire fields. The hotel was quiet and relaxing with pretty gardens that you could walk around. The bedroom was large, comfortable double bed and the ensuite bathroom was nice and the shower was hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although not much of a selection of fruit. The lounge area was comfortable and relaxing.
Lovely little studio apartment in a rural setting. Lots of thought had gone into the modern decor and the small kitchen was really helpful. Hosts was very friendly and accommodating. Great communication. Quiet and peaceful, nice local walks on the door step and easy drive into Bristol/Bath and Wiltshire. Enjoyed the TV, good shower, fold down table was a clever addition.
Chippenham
An incredible spa hotel in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Stayed here recent for an over night stay with my other half, and was blown away! Such a beautiful hotel with great decor throughout, with lovely modern comfort rooms. Nice clean, modern spa facilities. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. I will definitely be coming back again in the future!
Breakfasts were excellent. Staff always helpful, with particular commendation for finding and then sending on my wedding ring ... Location excellent both in town and for our purpose which was to tour and visit in Wiltshire. Thanks for the parking - we appreciated the convenience of an hotel car park in the middle of town.

This is a tremendous hotel, whether you have children or not. We had a delightful room and the staff in both hotel and spa could not have been more helpful. The hotel is in a perfect position for Bradford upon Avon and exploring the Wiltshire countryside. We will definitely be visiting again

Bradford on Avon
Position of the hotel and it being a walkable distance from the town and the Wiltshire Music Centre. The breakfast was ok and we enjoyed sitting in the sunny dining room with amazing views of the countryside. The room was cosy and comfortable.
