Tobermory
Amazing service from the staff at Harbour Guest House as well as their sister hotel, The Western Isles Hotel. Definitely recommend this spot for the location and really personable managers. After a mix-up on the first night, I really felt taken care of by Kirsty and Sophie. I ended up staying in Room 6 and the view was killer. Breakfast was tailored to my allergies and they even allowed a later check-out and stored my bags for me. Would recommend it to other 20-somethings trying to find themselves in Tobermory!
The Western Isles in Tobermory is an excellent and well positioned hotel. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our dog was made more than welcome. The ambience throughout is of a very high standard. The restaurant has an excellent menu and has wonderful views over the harbour and across the loch. Our stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. We would certainly stay at the Western Isles again.
Tobermory
A lovely stay at a super clean B&B a few minutes walk from the sea front. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, very nice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and a buffet including bagels, croissants, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses. On-street parking right outside and very welcoming hosts. Ate at the Western Isles hotel one night and at a local Pub on the sea front the second - both very good.
Only stayed a brief night when travelling Western Isles to Wales, but Hotel is in outstanding location, all clean, all comfort of a decent hotel you can think off, charm and was truly pet friendly.
Perfect for myself as a base for work would also use the Caladh Hotel if I was on holiday in the Western Isles
this was a beautiful property. It was more expensive than our other hotels in the Highlands but a real treat. It was nested away on a gorgeous property. Absolutely loved it. Restaurant was amazing.
The staff here were wonderful. The day before our arrival we realized that we hadn't booked into any restaurants. We messaged the hotel and they booked us in for two evenings at their restaurant. The food was excellent. They also packed us up a breakfast to take with us one morning, as we had to leave early before the restaurant began its normal breakfast service. The location is also wonderful with access to the water for evening walks. It was wonderful.
Great location, friendly staff , very clean and comfortable
nice dinner, nice rooms with lake view
The facilities were great. The best meal we have eaten in our 6 week travels in the UK. Staff were great.
What a fantastic location! The hotel is simple but idyllic if you want to get away from it all and enjoy great hospitality in a relaxing atmosphere.
When I arrived, I was actually given a different room to what I booked but it was fine and I was refunded the difference. Meals were lovely but the staff were fantastic. So lovely, friendly and welcoming. It has been a brilliant experience and wee holiday.
great location, friendly staff, beautiful location etc
The breakfast at the hotel was excellent! loved the location it was close to shops and restaurants. The staff were excellent.
Clean, tidy and simple. Couldn’t have asked for better. Such a calm and beautiful place with gorgeous scenery and I can’t wait to go back to Iona with my family!
I was really surprised by this place. The cabins are very clean and ultimately offer exactly what you see - a place to sleep and spend one or several nights on the Isle of Skye at a very economical price. The bathroom is small but you don't need much more. The beds are very comfortable, which is great because you're likely to be very tired from exploring Skye. The door opens by pulling the handle upwards, and there's a super cozy bar at the reception.
The facility was lovely, even for non golfers
The location is amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. You can't ask for a better location in Portree.
