This romantic 4-star country house hotel offers views from each bedroom. It offers a Scottish dining and local seafood in the property's restaurant with a choice of menus. The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

I had a very nice conversation during check-in :) Localization was perfect, close everywhere - to the train station, buses, city centre and concert venue I attended to. The room had many amenities and incredibly comfortable and big bed, I loved it! A big plus for the kettle, I always appreciate when room contains it. I will definitely stay there again if ever come back to Glasgow. Good luck!

Situated in Helensburgh and with Glasgow Botanic Gardens reachable within 38 km, Rooms Above Sugar Boat features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.

This hotel is in an excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Buchanan St Bus station and te city centre. It was also a 10 minute walk to my destination at Strathclyde Sport which was my destination. On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was of a good size and was comfortable with a suitably warm duvet. The shower had a good pressure and temperature. The tv was in good working order and well positioned above the foot of the bed.
The Hotel is a Great Hotel ( When you actually find it ) Nice Toby Inn with a Good Carvery, Comfy Bed & spacious room at very reasonable rates. Lovely, bright entrance, Friendly staff to greet on reception. Rooms spacious and well equipped. Fantastic breakfast and meal options. Right opposite the beautiful lake and walk at Strathclyde Country Park and next door to M&Ds theme park. Straight of main road and easy to find. Something for everyone.

I paid for the hotel I got put out early on hours through talking loud I am applying for ma £92 back as I was wrongfully arrested and speaking with my mp and lawyer as it was un fair the way I was mistreated by Strathclyde police

In my view, with Drimsynie, Lochgoilhead is the best wee village in the World (I live in Greece, which has some cracking wee villages, and I have travelled a fair bit)! Drimsynie is an excellent place to go to for a long weekend or a longer holiday, with or without kids. Adults and kids of all ages will love it! There is so much to do and the staff are always willing to help! The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and whether you are golfing, walking, or sailing, you cannot help but be taking in by the majestic scene that is Lochgoil / Lochgoilhead, and the surrounding hills. As a holiday destination, Drimsynie is an ideal place for both active and relaxing holidays! We stayed in the hotel this time but I have also stayed in one of the lodges, and I would recommend both! This is a gem of a hotel and holiday destination!!
The surroundings are incredible and the staff makes you feel so very welcome. The food is amazing and the whisky (scotch) selection is great.
If you like 70s retro, this is perfect; because it's not retro, it's the real thing. Built in the early 70s, less modernised and more very well maintained, it's kept it's 70s look and feel. The rooms are small, but comfortable and spotless. The staff are friendly & helpful, especially the night porter & driver who arranged transport to the airport for me. They are in the process of updating many of the rooms. I really hope they keep a handful they way they are.
The hotel site is an absolute marvel! Plenty to do and to see. The buildings, the waterfalls, the water mill, etc. Just awesome!
i can’t describe with words how amazing this hotel and place is!! very clean! staffs are very friendly!!! the location is just perfect and i was staying right infront of the beach i had a great experience and lovely staying in this hotel! the size of the room is just amazing and the toilet is soo good interms of the design
