Beautiful location. Extremely comfortable lodge, with everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly, especially our visitor, Buddy, as we got settled in.
location outstanding, staff were brilliant, food was delicious, the gf pizza best that I have tasted.
Staff were great - all really warm and just made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and clean - very comfortable. Location with views over the loch was awesome. We'll be back!
good, tasty breakast, histoic environment
The bed (bed linen / pillowcases): exceptionally fresh and clean - spotlessly so. As was the room (including the bathroom) generally - the room was really nice. The hotel has a nice, pleasant atmosphere in a lovely and peaceful part of Scotland - start from Aberfoyle to get to either end of Loch Katrine, including starting at one end of 'Duke's Pass' at Aberfoyle to get to the Trossachs Pier end of the loch (the 7-mile 'Three Lochs Forest Drive' is between these two points and is well worth a detour, as are 'The Lodge' & the Go Ape adventure activities hub (the last two are about a mile up the Duke's Pass hill from Aberfoyle's main road)). There's the NCR 7 for cyclists. The hotel is also a few miles from the Lake of Menteith, which is very serene and a favourite place of mine. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful.
Very clean and comfortable room. Very nice comfortable lounge/conservatory to relax in. Very close to centre of Drymen but very peaceful. Great value for money. Would very happily stay again.
