Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms

Hotel in Oakham

Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms are located on Rutland Water Golf Course. A restaurant, an on-site bar and free WiFi is available. Free private parking is available on site. Peaceful location, lovely courtyard room with everything needed, including a very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast and excellent evening meal on the day we chose to eat there. It was nice staying next to the bar - we could have a drink in the evening without worrying about who was going to drive. We're not golfers, but learned a bit about the sport while we were there! Also was great to be so close to the Nature Reserve and able to walk around Rutland Water.

Greetham Valley

Hotel in Greetham

Family owned and run, Greetham Valley Hotel is set amid tranquil Rutland countryside. 10 minutes' drive from Oakham, Stamford and Rutland Water and with easy access via the A1. The location is very good, it's off the beaten track but on a well-loved golf course. Which makes the hotel part both welcoming and warm. The bar & restaurant is separately located in the golf course clubhouse. The staff here are polite and very helpful. I had driven a long way late in the evening to get to the hotel, I am not very observant after a long drive. The staff were polite, unjudging and kind to me, which made my stay far better. Good service is priceless. The hotel room was large, well catered and comfortable. The ensuite was up to the task, the shower was amazing. Dinner, a good night's sleep, breakfast and I was on my way once more.
