After a long day of travel, and not ideal weather upon arrival, this place became our sanctuary. The accommodation exceeded our exception with wonderful view, kitchenette, large bathroom/shower and it was warm and cozy. We ate in the hotel as well, which was an amazing dinner. AND breakfast included in the morning.

The facilities with the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were brilliant. The food at dinner was excellent, though some vegetables with the children’s main meal would have been appreciated instead of the overly generous pile of chips. Breakfast was good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We came to Stranraer in particular as we enjoy visiting several places on the Rhins of Galloway.
The lovely welcome from Sandy. He made us very welcome. We went to the cenotaph to pay our respects and the pipes and drums where lovely. Stranraer is a lovely place.

On arrival adequate parking, Location is great with nice scenery, building aesthetically pleasing and the same goes for the décor inside. The host, Colin was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and clean, felt at home. Free Wi-Fi available. Complimentary drink was offered. Large clean bathroom. Check out was a doddle. Would return with family for a longer stay.
Food selection was great. The lounge had a great fire and was pet friendly. First time having Haggis - very good.
stunning views, exemplary amenities, fabulous garden, outstanding architecture, quiet, great breakfast, Comfy beds. kind owner (Fiona) and host who was available but unobtrusive. Dig friendly and no extra charges.
Clean, comfortable, lots of room. Bathroom was amazing, just lots of space compared to many places we have stayed over the last week.
Location excellent. Very clean, owners were lovely & really helpful. Poached eggs to die for. Would definitely stay again when in area & will reccommend to family/friends.
