Beautiful hotel and staff were so friendly and professional. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was absolutely beautiful with a view over the garden. Room was made up every day. Garden was lovely and snacks and drinks were served daily in the garden if you wished. We were visiting relatives, however, this hotel is ideal for commuting to Edinburgh. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Edinburgh/Midlothian area.

The view alone was enough to take my breathe away - the room was clean, we felt safe even travelling with a baby and the staff were simply exceptional. Wonderful experience overall.
Staff : went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. After travelling for over 24hrs and landing at 6am the team were able to have our room ready which we were eternally grateful for. We also had a cancelled flight the next morning and there was no problem to book the same room again. (we were lucky enough not to be travelling in peak times for this availability) Food : both breakfast and dinners were fabulous. SPA : I had both facial and massage and they were bliss

We wanted a castle facing room and we got exactly that !! Fantastic view ! Location is bang in the centre of the action near Edinburgh Castle! Reception Staff were every so helpful and went out of their way to guide us to the attractions. The young girls at the reception never batted an eyelid before carrying our heavy luggages up the stairs (very grateful as my wife has had cancer surgery and its "no lifting" for her...and I have an old ligament tear in my wrist). Service Desks were warm and friendly. Will strongly recommend this hotel for their fantastic location and excellent customer service!!

Simple and Short answer? It was Perfect. We booked a twin bed room. The beds were so big that you could accommodate four people, not only two. The view is perfect as well. Hence, it's less than one minute far from bus stops and Oil Station, that has a 24/7 open market.
