A really beautifully decorated hotel. Breakfast was cooked to perfection - I don't like runny white in my eggs but they still managed to retain a runny yolk in my eggs benedict. The common lounge areas are inviting and cosy places where you actually want to spend time. It's right in the centre of town and Ledbury is a lovely shopping town with all independent shops, not to mention the historical buildings and great walking location in the foothills of the Malvern Hills.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, well equipped and with really nice towels. The hotel is situated in the Malvern Hills adjacent to ancient hill forts and settlements which were all common land and easily accessed from the hotel and which were all much appreciated by our group - including the dog. Hotel staff were delightful and helpful especially the receptionist who had maps and suggestions of places to visit during our two night stay.
Great Malvern
Very centrally located apartment near restaurants and shops but very quiet. The apartment was very warm and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, super bathroom and very comfortable beds with mattress toppers and nice bed linen. You could walk from the door straight up onto the Malvern Hills. Communication with Penny was prompt and helpful and there was lots of info about where to eat and places to visit.
Friendly efficient service. Excellent breakfast and restaurant food with a variety of dishes and a good wine list. Central location with access to the Malvern Hills, transportation- without a car I was able to get to Hereford and Worcester. Above all the hotel was well-managed, well-maintained and value for money. This was a return visit due to the excellence of the hotel in every respect.
Delightful hotel. It has a Jacobean feel about it. The staff were extremely welcoming of our dog and they were very good with my little boy. Beautiful views of the Malvern Hills There was a vegetarian cooked breakfast available and breakfast was included in the price of the room.We only stayed one night and I would love to go again
Ledbury
Apartment was clean and adequately fitted out, plus quite spacious for it's size. There was heating at beginning and end of day which was nice as still cool in mornings and evenings in May. Shower worked well. Close to Ledbury and the Malvern hills which is why we chose it. Plenty of room for parking.
The hotel is conveniently located in Malvern Hills area, with lovely grounds & garden, a spacious parking and the building itself is nice. Our room was on the small side, but confortable. Breakfast was excellent! We had cocktails in the evening and dinner on site and everything was delicious!
What a fabulous grand hotel. Right in the heart of Great Malvern with easy walkable access to the Malvern Hills. Quality running right through the hotel from the staff to the furnishings, the food, the atmosphere and there’s a lovely little quiet garden out of the rear of the property.
Wonderful position this hotel has over looking the valley and tucked up on the hill side. Views are spectacular and the easy access behind the hotel up to the Malvern Hills is very accessible. Breakfast very good and dinner was delicate and very well presented with great taste.
The Hotel is in a great location near the town centre as well as next to the starting point for a path leading to St Ann's Well and the Malvern Hills. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice cooked breakfast.
Malvern Wells
Location was amazing right at the bottom of Malvern hills. Lots of space in apartment. Great facilities-everything you could need in the kitchen. Washing machine was a great addition.
Lovely apartment and great location as a base to walk the Malvern Hills and beyond. Ledbury was a charming place to stay - the apartment very comfortable and in excellent condition.
Great Malvern
The location was ideal. Very close to the shops and restaurants and a short walk to the Malvern hills. The apartment was very well equipped, nice and warm and pleasant rooms.
Great Malvern
A great location for exploring the Malvern Hills and fabulous facilities. The apartment was spotless and very well presented with a real variety for breakfast.
Malvern Wells
Beautiful apartment, decorated to high standard and very comfortable furniture. Great location right next to Malvern hills.
We love the quirky nature of the b&b portion. The true magic was the setting. Bird song and flitting about, the family dog, walks just outside the gate, ending with a double rainbow over the house on the last day. Magic.
Excellent stay, staff were very attentive especially Sarah who looked after us in the pod. This was our sixth stay and I would say it was our best as all the staff were great
We enjoyed the excellent hospitality and attention to all our needs. Our host is a wonderful example of how to operate a guest house. Thank you
The room is big, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was not included in my charges. The view is the city view, not the hills. There is a pub downstair which is quite noisy at night..however, I still can sleep soundly.
