Loch Awe
This enchanting Edwardian country house is home to 5 modern, self-catering apartments, with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. We stayed in the main building, which had wonderful, unique architecture-kind of a cross between a castle and a church. Our apartment was spacious, with well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, and laundry room. Our host, Paul, was welcoming, helpful with reservations, and informative. Also, great view of the loch and the castle out our window. We used this location as a base for day trips to St Conan’s Kirk, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Inveraray, Oban, and Glencoe Valley.

The Posting House is a beautifully set up property - clean, comfortable and well set up. Kate, the host, was very accommodating. You could stay for a week quite easily. Our car broke down and Kate even offered to pick us up and drop us off if we needed it. Kate allowed us to have a late checkout until our car was ready, which was so appreciated. She even followed up after to check we were ok.

Dalmally
We love this place, this is our second visit. Situated on the edge of Loch Awe, it is beautifully peaceful. The views are magnificent. We had a loch view need, I say more. The hotel is an old 18th century listed building, so do not expect a 5 star modern hotel ( wouldn't fit in this area anyway), HOWEVER, the food is definitely 5 star! The chef is amazing, so eat in their restaurant. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff are great.
Kilchrenan
this place was amazing. huge en-suite rooms with antiques and yet modern conveniences. large estate and gardens to roam all the way to loch Awe which is remote, beautiful, and peaceful. The bar was fully stocked and the staff were helpful and very friendly but not in our business.. Meals were extraordinary made with local ingredients. Everything just so we’ll done.
We found Taychreggan as our planned hotel had cancelled on us at short notice but we couldn’t have been happier. What a find. Positioned in a remote part of Loch Awe, blissfully quiet and very serene. The staff running the Hotel were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
