Overall, a wonderful stay at The Raven's Cliff lodge! My family stayed here for a week in two rooms which were quiet, comfortable and affordable. The restaurant was particularly terrific...the food was very tasty and filling! We ate many breakfasts and dinners here, the omelets were superb! Enjoyed getting to know the restaurant staff, and John in the mornings was especially friendly and hospitable! Highly recommend staying here to all who travel with families!

Situated 10 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre, Best Western Garfield House Hotel features free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar and grill restaurant and ample free parking. It was the perfect little stay just outside of glasgow. It was a 15 min walk to the train station and then 15 min or so on the train to glasgow. The personel was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, so it was very nice. Everything is what you would expect.

I love this quirky hotel in the magical countryside of South Lanarkshire. Decor and furnishing choices in the rooms can be a bit strange, but all the better after the endless Holliday Inns and other chains. The staff are real people, each of them different, and there is a bit of a buzz about the place that the coach parties add to rather than spoil. The Grand Staircase with the stained glass is straight out of Agatha Christie. Go Tinto !
we’ve stayed here many times, always been a great experience, staff always welcoming and helpful ( particularly Gary ) the hotel is perfectly sited for accessing Lanarkshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh, the rooms and facilities are spot on and breakfast excellent. For the price, comfort and location you won’t find a better hotel in the area.
It’s a beautiful looking property. Very nicely decorated. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to learn about the hotel history although they are in South Lanarkshire and not north as their room guide suggests

Location was perfect for us, in between Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Very friendly staff and very friendly patrons so much so we were able to stay an extra day.
