Located in Coniston, just a short walk the to village center, The Apartments Coniston features apartments, each containing lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The property was in the perfect location near the centre of Coniston. It was very clean, comfortable and the owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountains, Wheelgate is set in Torver. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. We had a most enjoyable stay with Stuart and Sandy. Our cottage was nice and cosy (loved the sheep themed decoration!) and featured a well equipped kitchen (which we didn't use appart from the kettle as we preffered to visit the pubs in Torver and Coniston). Stuart provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning (we were offered a choice of salmon and scramble eggs and the traditional full cooked and there were fruits and joghurts as well as cereals). It's not far from the lake and ideal for hiking the Coniston fells - the Old Man of Coniston can be done right from the doorstep. We also enjoyed the company of Tommy the cat and the three very friendly Golden Retrievers after breakfast, so that's an additional bonus for cat and dog lovers.

Located in the lakeland village of Coniston, Meadowdore Cafe B&B offers free WiFi access and free on-site parking. Breakfast was excellent and the sfaff very friendly and accomodating. In the room we appreciated tea making facilities and large fridge. Location for trips ecxellent.

Located in a quiet corner of the English Lakes, the Bluebird Lodge offers free private parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. It is just 15 minutes’ walk from the village of Coniston. Our stay was brilliant, excellent location between Coniston old man and the lake. The hosts were super lovely and welcoming. The room was clean and just what we needed for two nights. Breakfast was lovely and tasted great. Can not recommend enough!

The hotel and staff both amazing. Hotel is lovely, clean and warm. The food both breakfast and evening meal was beautiful and enough of it. Staff polite and would do anything straight away. There was a welcome box in the bedroom for the dog, biscuits, ball and poo bags. They welcomed our dog with love. Situated 10min walk from Coniston waters.Will definitely be going back.

A fabulous hotel in an utterly stunning location. I'm reluctant to write this review if only because I don't want it to be booked up next time I go!! Lovely staff, delicious food (probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had) and beautiful gardens with tremendous views over Coniston Water. It's not "if" we'll be back, but "when".
We really liked the location of the hotel, there’s access to Coniston water and lots of little huts to relax and take in the view. It’s a really picturesque village, however where our room was situated wasn’t fantastic. But other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The location. Close to Coniston Water and a few minutes drive to Windermere. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was very bad so couldn't avail of the hot tub. Food at the Hotel was very very nice and reasonably priced.

THE LOCATION IS WONDERFUL, THE HOSTS WERE GREAT, THE APARTMENT WAS AMAZING, CANT FAULT IT AT ALL, FREE PARKING, SOME LOCAL SHOPS AND PUBS, PLENTY OF WALKING ROUTES FOR ALL LEVELS AND CONISTON WATERS WITHIN A SHORT WALKING DISTANCE.
Great location, excellent food and drink, quiet, comfortable room.
