The room and bathroom were big and very comfortable. The breakfast food was fresh, good variety, croissant and gems were delicious. But above all I had a fantastic time at the bar drinking coktails made by Alejandro which is a fantastic bartender and really nice person. His coktails are amazing, I drank one called Rayon do Soleil, with passion fruit that had a fantastic taste. Many thanks for the coktails and for the good chat Alejandro!

Nice small town near Paris. Good base to explore Paris, Ile de France and Champagne
We loved Montmartre where we first stayed, but it was taxing to get about. The funicular was a great help. Traffic in Paris does slow thngs down and the hop on hop off buses took a long while to get around. we got better after a few days at using public transport. The last hotel (Campanile) was more central and we could walk to the Ile de France, around Notre Dame Cathedral and to the Holocaust museum and more. We also were lucky to catch a Sunday market in the park nearby. Food aplenty in restaurants and cafes If you use the "formules" you can eat quite reasonably here. The trip on the Seine is good for old fogies too - more relaxing. A few days is enough and we like smaller towns. Not bothered with going into and up on everything but it was nice to stroll down the Champs Elysee.
We had three full days in Paris and crammed in the following: Arc de Triomphe, shopping on the Champs Elysee, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Centre Pompidou, Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, Moroccan food at the Marche des Enfants Rouge. We did not have time for Montmartre or the Musee Rodin which were also on our hit list. Thoroughly enjoyed staying in the St Michel area, just south of Ile de France at the Hotel Royal St Michel, which is perfect for couples or families with older children. We had thoroughly good time, and enjoyed superb weather in late May.
Les Lilas
The cleaning lady was really kind to us. The room is small, but comfortable. Having the shower in the room made the stay more comfortable. It is very connected to the city centre, 30 mins from Ile de France with public means of transports.
The reason to stay there, it has the most reasonable price in this part of île de France.
The food was plentiful and amazing quality. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon drink with cake, aperitif with lovely snacks and dinner. All buffet self service and the best I have encountered on holiday. Baked Alaska! desserts to die for. Mains included monk fish steak, beefsteak, swordfish steak, trout, lamb, salmon, chicken with sauce the list goes on. Starters included fresh prawns in shell and langoustine. Fine local wines Prosecco and beer on tap. Indoor and outdoor pool lots of outdoor and indoor activities including games rooms karaoke room. Boating was fun and the driving range. The chateau itself was beautiful with a moat and the grounds and woodland walks impressive

The hotel is in a calm beautiful location,20 mins to Disneyland by taxi and also 5 mins to the Parrot world park- amazing for kids and families. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location and uniqueness of this Hotel
Amazing cabin. Everything was new. We were concerned regarding the bed bugs and we checked all the mattresses, the sofa, everything!n and we realized that everything it’s new and clean and amazing. The facilities at good and whatever was not working properly they changed it. The heaters were working properly. We had also an medical emergency and they were quick to respond and they send a doctor as fast as they could.
Overall Design and cozy atmosphere
Every single staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Many were delightful to deal with. My room, which had a semi private little courtyard to sit out in the sun and watch the robins hopping around was large and very comfortable. There are many activities to choose from - unfortunately the weather was wet and windy, but there are many warm and cosy areas to sit in and enjoy a book or just watch the weather. The food in the restaurant is tasty, very French and fresh - some of it grown on site. They also have a very efficient laundry service which I appreciated as a traveller on the road for three months! I went for long walks and generally had a lovely relaxing time.
