And its amazingly silent by night although located right next to railway station. Very good location to jump onto communal train or bus, this time we used both. Bus 665K takes you in 10 mins to area of artist homes and lotta museum along Tuusulanjärvi and if you have HSL day-ticket, its all you need to use freely train and bus for 24h.

Housed in a renovated barn house next to Tuusula Golf Club, this hotel is 15 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. It offers free WiFi and a free morning or evening sauna. The staff were very friendly and the room very comfortable. If felt rural even though we were not far from Helsinki airport and it provide a lovely relaxing night before leaving. Food was very good in the restaurant and also an excellent breakfast was included.

We met Miko (apologies if spelt wrong) prior to gaining entrance to the villa. He was very polite and helpful. The location is outstanding, inside is spacious, exceptionally clean and homely. A stunning property set out to the highest of standards.

Well, where to start other than WOW ... what an absolute gem of a place, nestled in the forest with only a hand full of other properties this accommodation really was spectacular. Pulling up we were in awe, with the snow surrounding the property, the ambient lighting and the surrounding tree's have it a magical feel. Heating was on when we left ourselves in, much needed after spending most of the afternoon out exploring in -12c ... The accommodation is very modern and upto date, the log burner is a lovely touch too, beds very comfortable which made our 6am morning alarm even more unbearable. Absolute 10 out of 10 and I'll be back later in the year for sure!
