Next to Lake Iijärvi, this camping site features accommodation in cottages with private sauna, terrace and easy access to swimming and fishing, just 35 minutes’ drive from Kajaani and 2 km from... Really nice place! A clean cottage with a hot sauna next to the beach. You are able to go to the lake after sauna. Also there is a nice fireplace in the cottage. Wow! Amazing fireplace in the site for grilling, with a panoramic view (as it is eclosed by glass walls). Modern and minimal; Finnish style! All this aside, how kind and lovely the manager is.

These apartments are in Ristijärvi, 1 km from Saukkovaara Ski Centre. Flat-screen TVs and full kitchens are standard. Communal facilities include a bookable sauna. The apartment is big and clean,and near to a beautiful lake. The only unpleasant might be that there are no restaurants nearby, but they have a fully equipped kitchen for us to cook in so it's fine

There are big stores and a petrol station too nearby, and of course the river and the lake, which are beautiful. You can swim too, if you want. The property is a large and fairly luxurious private home by appearance, divided into some private bedrooms and generously large common areas, like kitchen and bathroom. All very clean at the time of my visit.
