Just 328 feet from the bridge to Olavinlinna Castle, this small boutique hotel is next to Lake Saimaa in Savonlinna. It offers individually decorated rooms with scenic views and free wired internet. The place was beautiful and was right by the lake and opposite Olavanlinna so views were superb. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.

This 1930s hotel, designed by Finnish architect Wivi Lönn, lies on Lake Saimaa. Olavinlinna Castle is only 1312 feet away. It offers free Wi-Fi, a quiet setting and cozy, individually decorated rooms.... The room for family is very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Shower and bathroom are very newly renovated! Excellent breakfast! Very friendly staff!

This hotel is on Savonlinna’s main square, Kauppatori, right by Lake Saimaa. It provides free WiFi and sauna access, and a rooftop lake-view restaurant open in the summer. The pet benefit is superb and really generous! Our dog had a comfortable stay in the room. The staffs are so friendly, the food is great, and most importantly, we really love the view of lake saimaa directly from our room! Thank you so much and have a happy summer everyone!

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 1640 ft from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 0.9 mi away. Rooms are good. As we all are vegetarian..so took only coffee and croissant

Located in Savonlinna, 7.6 miles from Savonlinna Train Station, Norppa Resort provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Lovely little resort and the staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of.

Located next to Lake Suurjärvi, Tanhuvaara Sport Resort offers a private beach area, buffet restaurant and variety of on-site activities. Guests have free access to WiFi and to the fitness center. For one night stay everything was good. Nothing stood out as really good.

Located 1640 feet from Savonlinna Train Station, this hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle. All rooms offer a TV and mini-bar. The property is perfectly located next to the center, market, restaurants, grocery shop, train station, boat piers, only the long distance bus station is inconveniently located in totally different neighborhood. The room is modest and the bathroom somewhat inconvenient because of the placement of sanitary fittings in the bathroom. Anyway, everything was doing its job in a satisfactory way. It is also true that the price was quite high, but this is something that is so understandable for the July when famous opera festival/event takes place in the nearby castle/fortress of Olavinlinna. Also, I have noticed that Savonlinna, even without the opera festival is so admired by so many visitors from all parts of Finland and foreign countries, myself included, because of its astonishing beauty and possibility to enjoy in so many sights and activities. To conclude, although the room was simple and modest and although the price was high, I would return to this property because it represents a very good choice for staying and enjoying wonderful Savonlinna.

Located on the picturesque Kasinosaari Island, this hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Savonlinna-Kauppatori Station and the main street, Olavinkatu. Sweet value for family with really good location. Good breakfast.

1.2 miles from Savonlinna Train Station in Savonlinna, Casino Islands Getaway features accommodations with access to a sauna. The Sauna in the appartment was the highligth of course!
