When following up with the reception staff online, they found the glasses and then posted them to me in Switzerland. I truly appreciated the effort and will stay again on my next visit. I stayed two nights because I wanted to experience the Finnish forest. But as a solo traveler, I did not want to go too wild to be extra cautious. The hotel met my expectations, you can walk around the hotel and there is already a good forest walking. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast spread was good enough. I want to visit again!!

The location of Hotelli Korpilampi on the edge of a lake is just pristine. The room was quiet. Our particular room overlooked the lake and was near the end of the hall, so we were way out in the woods and right next to the lake. The breakfast was really good--so many options! My daughter lost her phone and the front desk staff kindly called the place we thought it was lost. We only used housekeeping once, and they did a great job. The room was impeccably clean. We hiked around the lake many times, and even though it was raining, got hot in the sauna, then jumped in the lake. This made the swimming pool seem quite warm! It was relaxing to lie in our room with the window open and hear birds chirping and hawks calling out over the lake. We did rent a car and found it quite easy to park and ride the train into the city and take ferry rides out to islands.
