Dating back to the 1800s, this charming manor is found in the Finnish Lake District, 4.3 mi from Mikkeli. It offers an award-winning restaurant and elegant rooms with garden views. Breakfast at Tertti, at least until now, is the best Breakfast I had in all my life. So exquisite, fresh, and rich. Salmon, different sort of breads, butter, scrambled eggs (special made), different sorts of fish, different sorts of cheese, and much more, the majority of this treats, elaborated by them, at the Kartano (country house in Finnish). Special mention for Tertti's special Porridge which is from another world, so yummy, just for that, its is worth to pay a visit to this establishment. Staff is very kind, helpful, they make you feel as you would be at home, from the receptionists, the waitresses, the gardener, to the owner, who has been so helpful, giving us extra information about our interests on Finland, and always being concerned about our wellbeing. It is located not far away from Mikkeli, a reasonable size city, and at a stone throw of huge forests and lakes.

Sulkava
Location in one of the most beautiful regions of Lakeland Finland. Quiet authentic place. The hosts are very attentive and caring. The accommodation is clean, and comfortable, like a "childhood in grandmother's village". I only stayed one night along the way. I think my family would also like to relax here for a few days.
Everything is good ans perfect, they allowed us also to accept visitor the kids are very happy and amazed with the inside pool, the view is good also specially in the night 🥰 the staff are very nice and very helpful always. All in one we are very satisfied.

The pool and sauna facility was way above expectations, the kids didn't want to leave. The room we were in was a slightly older renovation, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a huge selection and was fantastic.

The ambience of the place is what I liked the most here. A bit away from the highway by the lake amid the picturesque landscape of Punkaharju, the resort is among the perfect places if you are looking for a place to unwind. The Punkaharju ridge and the nature trails in Lusto area are just a few kilometres away - you can either walk or rent a bike from the reception. Apart from this, one can participate in a number of leisurely activities. The resort also has an aquatic park and rope park close by. For food you can visit their restaurant or even cook in the kitchen if you are camping. Talking of camping, they have quite a large area for pitching tent or parking caravan. Other options to stay include cottages. I stayed in one of the small economy cottages with two beds. It was decently size with a refrigerator and a microwave a couple of chairs outside. Given the size of the cottage it does not include any closet but has a shelf to keep stuffs. Finally, before I forget, I need to mention the staff who were very helpful and always served with a smile.
Everything was excellent. The room was cozy and very comfortable. It has everything, what can be needed during the stay. The quality of the internet connection was very good. The room was beautifully decorated. If you come to pray, you can not bring your own icons, since the room has one big icon.
The very well designed and very clean bathrooms and sanitary facilities. The cabins were of the right size and the beds were very comfortable. The entire area is beautiful and the staff is nice and was very helpful.
