Salmon, different sort of breads, butter, scrambled eggs (special made), different sorts of fish, different sorts of cheese, and much more, the majority of this treats, elaborated by them, at the Kartano (country house in Finnish). Special mention for Tertti's special Porridge which is from another world, so yummy, just for that, its is worth to pay a visit to this establishment. Staff is very kind, helpful, they make you feel as you would be at home, from the receptionists, the waitresses, the gardener, to the owner, who has been so helpful, giving us extra information about our interests on Finland, and always being concerned about our wellbeing. It is located not far away from Mikkeli, a reasonable size city, and at a stone throw of huge forests and lakes.

Everything is good ans perfect, they allowed us also to accept visitor the kids are very happy and amazed with the inside pool, the view is good also specially in the night 🥰 the staff are very nice and very helpful always. All in one we are very satisfied.

What can I say! This was my 4th stay at Sahanlahti and as every time, my only big mistake was to have stayed just 1 night. The location by the lake is just beautiful, the rooms are so well done and have a friendly, welcoming vibe, the staff are helpful, the breakfast on a terrace in the morning is a treat. During the day there are other people around visiting the facilities, and there is a small harbor for a few boats, but it all comes together to being one place of life and relaxed enjoyment and nature. For me, it does good to my stressed soul every time I stay there. Highly recommended.
The surroundings and the environment, there is activities for everyone. Lots of nature. It was quiet and as such not noisy given how much people that were there

The cottage was perfect. Located in a stunning location by the lake and surrounded by trees and forest, it's the perfect spot to experience a proper Finnish summer vibes. Our cottage had plenty of room for 6 people and a beautiful porch where to enjoy your breakfast/ dinner in the nature. City center is just 5/ 10mins away by car; there's a supermarket too in the nearby.

Everything was excellent. The room was cozy and very comfortable. It has everything, what can be needed during the stay. The quality of the internet connection was very good. The room was beautifully decorated. If you come to pray, you can not bring your own icons, since the room has one big icon.
