The room well equipped and with a gorgeaus view on the lake. From the bed you can see the lake and the forest around as well as you were outside. Very kind staff and good breakfast, with typical finnish food.

Boasting a bar, Break Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä is set in Kolinkylä in the Eastern Finland region, 3.6 km from Koli National Park. The stay was excellent. I felt like being in an hotel in the USA National Parks... The hotel was new, rooms and especially beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was great and we had dinner one night and it was good and at a reasonable price. Sauna available for guests (for free). Driving to the national park is only a couple of kilometres. Overall a great experience and we will definitely come back!

This property was lovely, I really appreciate how homely it felt. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom a bit tricky that one. There’s a ski resort not too far from the hotel you can literally walk over there. There’s a restaurant at the slope area and in the hotel but the one at the hotel at the time of my stay was not open until Thursdays. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was top notch. I really enjoyed my stay and I’m looking forward to coming back.

As you enter by car, there is a feeling of tranquillity and privacy. At reception, we were greeted with sparkling wine and a non-alcoholic version for my daughter. Our room was very comfortable, beds were lovely, and there was a walk-in closet, so our things didn't cramp the space. Breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh fruit, bread made that morning, and American pancakes. The view was spectacular and if it hadn't been raining, there would have been lots of activities to do just at the hotel.

The place is very new, they supposed to have 9 cabines, there are 5 right now. It is comfortable and new and a very nice view of the golf course.

Nice small town in a fantastic part of eastern Finland, with many close lakes and other attractions.
The only reason for most people to go there is the opera festival. Otherwise it's a small city in eastern Finland that happens to have a mediaeval fortress on its doorstep. The area is beautiful though, and I suppose would be good for outdoor activities, particularly canoeing and fishing. But we go for the opera, which is always worth the trip. (Er, young couples like us? A pair of old crocks, more like.)

Lots of activities, the area is very beautiful and well kept. The spa was pleasant and relaxing to be in. The rooms are clean and there's plenty equipment both for cooking inside and outside. Plenty of hiking trails to follow. The staff is nice and communicable.

The front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating of our needs. While the hotel is dated, the location was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms and bed linens were very clean as well.
