Located in the small village of Valgañon, Hotel Pura Vida S.C. offers stylish rooms with views of the surrounding mountains. It also features a buffet restaurant and free WiFi. This new boutique hotel was beautifully and lovingly restored by its owners in the tiny village of Valganon, about 10 minutes from Ezcaray. The on site young owners , who live next door, also manage the hotel and are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the region, places to visit, restaurants in Ezcaray. The one local restaurant was very good but only open on Fri-Sun, at least during October but there are also very good restaurants in Ezcaray. The hotel was immaculate. We highly recommend this hotel.

It features a restaurant, a gym and free Wi-Fi. one of our favourite places to go and unwind. it never disappoints. it’s so peaceful, quiet, luxurious place that you just don’t wanna leave.

Housed in an 18th-century town mansion, this hotel has been lovingly restored from the original property, keeping the impressive, classical-style decor and antique furniture. This was a beautifully restored hotel in a pretty village which we approached via a lovely tree lined avenue. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and bed linen and towels really nice quality. We had a great view from our room of the fabulous sandstone church Perfect secure under ground parking for our motorbike The staff were very helpful, pleasant and welcoming Breakfast was good, the usual spread with some added cakes and sweet treats. Nice garden/terrace area with cover of needed The small town is a ski resort town in the winter and has a number of bars and restaurants

We found this little hotel absolutely wonderful. The proprietor, Juan, was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was within easy walking distance of a good choice of bars and restaurants, shops if necessary. Many small beautiful villages and wineries in this area, so no lack of things to do, places to visit. Breakfast was a bit limited due to kitchen refurbishment, but always plenty tea,coffee, and breakfast pastries
