This felt like true, old-fashioned Spain -- maybe even better than I had imagined. The hacienda setting amid olive groves in the mountains, plus pool, excellent AC, and fabulous shared kitchen were all extraordinary. One evening as we were sitting by the pool, a friendly fox trotted over to say hi. And the owner, Marie, was terrific, esp when we mislaid our keys late in the evening. Oh, and nearby Ronda is not to be missed. We even got to enjoy a local flamenco concert / lesson.

Set in beautiful gardens, this family-run country hotel provides a peaceful venue for a relaxing getaway in rural Andalusia. Located 15 minutes' drive from Ronda, it has a charming country setting. This was the highlight of my trip to spain. This place was exactly what I was looking for. Extra quiet and peaceful. I was able to recharge my batteries after a long day of sightseeing. It is extremely well located if you want to visit some pueblos blancos and Ronda. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. I will definitely come back. The property also happens to be absolutely gorgeous.

The town of Montejaque was exceptionally lovely, at the edge of one of the most beautiful Nature parks we have seen in Andalucia, Sierra de Grazalema. The hotel was located on the small village plaza that was lively in the evening, but not noisy. The walk uphill through the old Nazarid barrio to the Mirador was really great. Clean and comfortable. Lots of books to browse in various languages left behind by other travelers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy and safe to store our bicycles.
Zahara de la Sierra
A nice and convenient apartment at the heart of the most beautiful white village in Sierra de Grazalema. Perfect as a base for car exploring of the region (even to Ronda) and to walk everywhere in Zahara de la Sierra itself. We were only two but the apartment could easily fit more. No issues with cold close to new years, didn't even need the fireplace or heating. The hosts were nice and helpful, available easily for our arrival and departure. Absolutely worth the price

The location and the property complex was amazing. All the peacocks running around was unbelievable. At the evening with all the peacock and frog sounds the nature came to life. To wake up in the morning and open the curtain and see peacock chilling on the terrace was so beautiful. I absolutely loved it. There are two pools. One has even a slide. What’s more, there is a playground for kids. This hotel has a unique charm. Although it’s location is 5 min drive away from Ronda, i and my family could enjoy the quietness and comfort that you can get only being in country. The staff was very friendly and polite. Breakfast is good and tasty, so is the dinner. Dinner prices are good, the same as if you would eat in the city centre of Ronda, but the quality is much better. Loved that they had kids menu with all the stuff that kids like - nuggets, pasta, pizza and so on. Hope to visit Ronda again and if so definitely staying here.
