Pilar even went out of her way to assist me when I wanted to purchase then eat some large crab from the seafood store down the street. I ate out in the garden and it was a very nice occasion only occuring with the help of Pilar. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfy...slept all night... no noise. The shower was as hot as you want, so very nice. The breakfast was actually a bit too much food for me, but I wholeheartedly recommend the stay ...and the breakfast if you can eat more than I in the mornings. Allariz itself is also grand.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff, especially at the front desk. I've stayed here 5-6 times since 2017 and always find it relaxing and enjoyable. It's an old-fashioned gem with a nice lobby, a lovely bar on premises and a great breakfast buffet. The buffet staff is top-notch too. In a great area right off the old-city; there are many drinking and dining choices within a 10 minute walk. I think it's one of Ourense"s best hotels, one that provides exceptional value with great service and a touch of class.

This is a clean, efficient, nicely appointed, well-situated one bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the heart of Ourense's historic zone. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. You really couldn't ask for more at such a reasonable price. Best of all are the friendly and helpful owners Conchi and David who also manage this attractive property. And it is an easy walk to anywhere in the old town distict which becomes quite lively and festive when the sun goes down. Highly recommended.
The location, just ~120 meter on foot from Ourense's bus and railway station. Fresh air through the window, and alternatively good air conditioning. Do not get fooled by the hotel's plain two stars! I booked when it was said the hotel was almost full, true or not, so I ended up in their most expensive room with a large roof terrace. Maybe I wasn't exactly in need of the luxury, but it was very good value for the money. Many four-star hotels have less to brag about.
Hotel is best for car travelers, it is located at a motorway intersection, but it is also probably the hotel closest to the Ourense thermal baths. Large safe parking. Friendly and helpful lady receptionist, lift, clean rooms, wi-fi worked well. Clean, good showers, simple but adequate breakfast at good price, overall affordable. Very good value for money, I had low expectations, so I was actually surprised how good everything was.

We we met at the arranged time. They were very helpful and kind to show us the apartment and tell us about the area around the apartment. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect place to explore Ourense, especially the old quarter. We wish we would have had longer to stay. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ourense. The owner even arranged a taxi to the train station for us.
Terrific value for money. The apartment was easy to find, easy to access and the lift was a relief when I realised it was on the third floor - not always guaranteed in Spain! The apartment itself was fab, spacious and industrial with a huge bathroom and everything clean and ready for us. The location was also fantastic, we were in central Ourense in a minute and near all the best tapas and wine bars.

Everything related to my acommodation and stay was really wonderful. The room I was given was very comfy, well furnished and clean. I'd like to highlight this is the second time I've booked a room at the New J&J Hostel and both experiences were very pleasant to me, so I recommend this place to anyone interested in reserving a good place to stay in downtown Ourense.

The location was ideal, so it was the care of the managers, always available via WhatsApp to answer queries. Placed in the city's heart, it was an ideal location to walk in the historic centre of Ourense. The apartment is very nice, new, and very clean, with details upon arrival, such as welcome courtesy items to make the stay more comfortable.
One of the best example of the modern apartment in the center. Spacious, comfortable and very clean! The owner prepared for the client everything. From gel shower till coffee, tee, etc. The garage and big terras are extra super points. If you are searching for the accomodation in Ourense - don't think twice! Book it!

A beautiful apartment smack in the centre of the terrific city of Ourense. The apartment was very nicely decorated with wood beam ceilings and had everything you could need including a well equipped kitchen. Oskar the host was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again definitely. And Ourense is so good.
The hotel is located in the heart of Ourense and very close to the "casco antiguo" of the city, which is great as you can get to the best bars, restaurants and main attractions very quickly. The hotel staff was very helpful (on arrival and next morning) and the breakfast was alright.

Located in the rural outskirts of Ourense, this apartment is a nice 25 minute walk into town along the river. There is secure parking, and communal kitchen with washing machine and dryer, dining, and sitting rooms. Spectacular views.

Excellent hotel, great facilities. Too bad the pool was closed and the location is a little bit away from downtown Ourense, but it ends up beeing more quiet, so all an all not so bad.
