I didn't expect it to be on a renewed military barrack from the 19th century. The renovation was very successful and I was pleasantly surprised in every aspect. The hostel primarily caters to peregrino hikers but I would recommend it also to people that don't need elevator or hotel service. There are plenty of breakfast options and grocery stores around, and a well equipped kitchen if you want to buy the products and prepare your own meals.

The staff were excellent, the room was new and beautiful, it had heat with a thermostat that we could control, the shower was nice and functioned perfectly, there were no common walls with other rooms so you couldn’t hear any neighbors. The common area is also lovely, with a laundry, kitchen, sitting room with a fireplace and cabinets to dry wet boots. The affiliated restaurant was also good and was open all afternoon and again at 6:00 am!
