An old flour factory dating from the year 1827 was totally reformed in order to offer the visitor all the amenities and comfort of a modern hotel. Perfect for the Caminito del Rey. It is near the exit of the Caminito (south access). The bus stop for the north access (the entrance) of the Caminito is just in front of the hotel, across the street - buy the ticket in the booth beside the bus stop and leave the bus at the "Kiosko Restaurant" stop (access to the actual entrance starts there, via tunnels under the rocks). When you end the Caminito, you will be near the hotel and your car. Plan to take the bus at least one hour before your entrance time (check bus table time because they are not so often). There is plenty of space in the street to park. Good restaurant (we had dinner but did not try breakfast). The room we got has two floors and a narrow spiral stair to reach the bed above (difficult for people with limited mobility, probably not an issue if you will do the Caminito). Great view from the window (if you get a riverside room). The room is comfortable, with a separate living room and a sofa.

Apartment is super clean, beds are comfy and all equipment works. Host was very helpful in every way, he helped to reserve the cheap tickets (without guide) to Cominito del rey, we just need to pick up at the counter. Really appreciate his help for our last minute booking of the tickets. Host responded very quickly with any enquiry, can do laundry with dryer (a rare find in spain) at the bottom of the apartment, just pick the key from the same box of the card. Thanks for the Millan potato chips too ☺️

Excellent location if you are hiking Caminito del Rey, it's a 5-10min walk to the start of both trails (the tunnels). Plus you can park at the hotel, wasn't needed for us as it wasn't busy in February. The gentleman at checkin was incredibly helpful, showing us the maps of where we needed go and giving tips on when and how to arrive. The hotel itself is charming, lots of gathering spaces, rooms were spacious. Recommended for hikers! And, yes, the hike is worth it!

Very nice, spacious and well maintained apartment , which is a part of a bigger villa where the family lives. On a very nice piece of land surrounded by hills and olive trees. Jesus, his wife and kids were very friendly, receiving our family and our dog Luna with open arms. We will absolutely come back here to discover the area: Caminito del Rey, Cuevas de Ardales, etc... Thank you very much for our excellent stay!
The location in Ardales is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the restaurants. Ronda, El Torcal, and Caminito Del Rey are all a short drive. The village has a couple small shops, the apartment has what's needed for eating a light meal, parking was easy, and the village has some pretty things to see, take a walk up to the very top, and enjoy the "selfie stand" at sunset!
We found the apartment very clean and the decor was lovely in the apartment. Nice cooking area and seating area to relax in . Bathroom was great with extra essentials if required . We found parking outside the door A steep walk to the town for restaurants and half hour drive to the Caminito Del Rey . Flores the owner was always easy to contact

This is such a cute place and the pool is bigger than expected. Breakfast lovely and property within good distance of caminito Del Rey and the lakes. We were travelling around Spain and this place was a welcome retreat! Property extremely well renovated and a fabulous history of the owners property makes this a treat for history lovers.

This is a brilliant upper floor apartment with a beautiful terrace over looking the castle and the beautiful Andalucian architecture of Álora. Quiet and escapist, this apartment was exceptionally clean. Had great facilities and was a perfect base for our trip from Málaga to El Caminito Del Rey. I would highly recommend.
The view from the pool was amazing. It looks like some time ago designer was working hard to decorate entire hotel with thousand of nice details. Staff was very helpful. At the hotel we bought a Caminito del Rey guided tour with shuttle bus. The bus stops near the hotel. The guide Pablo was great :)

If you want to stay in the evening at terrace and enjoy view to valley and Spanish wine so this is perfect place. For the trip in Caminito del Rey would recommend to leave the car at the accommodation and go to start of the trip by bus. Apartment is very close to the end of this way.
The location is perfect for Caminito del Rey walk. The apartment is in the centre of the beautiful town of Alora. Free parking is availble in a communal carpark a few hundred meters away. The apartment itself was great. Well kitted out and everything worked.

Absolutely everything- grate location, excellent staff, very interesting room, great food. The room was with terrace- it was great to sit there in the evening. Unfortunately, we had only one night in this hotel on our way to Caminito del Rey.

Very nice apartment fully equipped with a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. We stayed only one night to visit Caminito del Rey but we would come back as the area is wonderful to go on hiking walks.

Very clean, good location to see Ronda, Caminito del Rey, Granada and a day trip to Sevilla. Easy uphill walk to town for food. Close little store to get basic supplies nearby. Gas station down the road was great for coffee and food!

The hotel is very well located if you are travelling to the Caminito del Rey. It is about a 10 minute drive to the visitors centre car park. The room itself was standard but comfortable, there is a restaurant underneath the rooms.
