Hotel Puerta del Mar is located in a quiet pedestrianised street next to the famous Balcón de Europa in Nerja, and just 100 metres from the beach. Beautiful hotel that exceeded our expectations for a 3-star hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we were given a map on which they showed us the main points of interest. They provide you with towels for the beach and the pool if needed. The breakfast could have included warm options like scrambled eggs or bacon but otherwise it was good. The fruit bowls were amazing. The room was spotlessly clean and seemed newly furnished. Excellent location, right by the Balcony of Europe.
