The owner family was really very helpful and quick, when there was something to repair or to improve our (European) expectations. The rooms have very new, huge and modern refrigerators including strong freezer sections. In the sleeping and living rooms are huge and powerful fans installed, which are definitely enough for cooling down the flats, since the hotel is perfectly located next to the north coast. The neighborhood is trustworthy and the owner family is very children friendly, so that we felt like at home after a very short time.

Aura is located in an upper (expensive) part of Egypt - so you might be a bit disappointed with the Hotel, given the price. We paid 150eur / night - although it is not cheap (for Egypt), in Sahel/North Coast, many other hotels cost 10x more, so you need to adjust your expectations. Alamaza bay is one of the best beaches on the North coast. Crystal clear, calm, and long stretch of white sand. The hotel is big, and has some amazing views, and a lot to offer. Jazz almaza was the first to open in a complex of 5 hotels. You can always pick other ones and I honestly recommend either Tamerina or Oriental. Food is ok. Very friendly and hard working staff. The place is absolutely mint. The layout, view, and staff are not a bit short of perfect. It is very noticeable the very first night. I love jumping between resorts on Egypt's north coast. But for this instance, I changed my mind to stay two more nights here. I will add more to what I liked about this place in the next couple of days
Honestly I was surprised by the quality of the hotel. Lobby looks nice, room is amazing in size and cleanliness, new furnishing , staff was very helpful, the indoor pool was beautifully decorated . very good atmosphere overall for a business hotel and price is quite reasonable given all the challenging prices in north coast.
