We loved staying at Galapagos Suites. The other comments have already mentioned everything, I guess, and I can definitely confirm it (spacious and very well-decorated rooms, comfy beds, good hot shower, yummy breakfast incl. freshly baked cakes, central yet quiet location, everything was spotlessly clean, etc.) - it is an excellent boutique hotel. But it was really Joseline and Josy who made our stay even more special - they were very helpful with everything and made sure we enjoyed the islands to the max. Joseline even put me on the phone with a doctor when I got a cold just before embarking on a dive cruise (liveaboard) to get some last minute advice. We were really sad to leave our Galapagos home and hope we will be back. In the meantime, whenever we are nostalgic, we have a tea in our Galapagos Suites blue-footed boobie mug. Thanks Joseline and Josy! ❤

Every need had been catered for and John was an excellent, friendly and welcoming host, checking daily everything was well. His attention to detail was exceptional. Fabiola cleaned our apartment daily and was warm, friendly with a delightful smile and happy demeanour. We truly enjoyed staying in his apartment.

Semilla Verde Boutique Hotel gives its guests the real traditional guest house experience on Santa Cruz Island. It is located only a 12-minute drive from Puerto Ayora. If, at the end of your holiday in the Galapagos, you want one or two days of relaxation before flying out from Santa Cruz/Baltra Island, I would heartedly recommend this wonderful hotel up in the highlands of the island. Not only does it have giant tortoises ambling through its extensive gardens and grounds, but it is also a relaxing quiet place to stay, enjoy an alternative ecological environment and prepare for the next leg of your trip into Ecuador or return home. Katia, the hotel manager, was an excellent hostess, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both immensely. As the hotel sits within a coffee plantation, the coffee is very 'local'. The small swimming pool was pleasant on a very hot afternoon.
