Amazing historical building renovated to most modern standard with modern furniture old vaulted ceilings and super updated bathrooms. We had the junior suite and it was amazing, quiet and in the middle of the city center. Wonderful a la carte breakfast included!

Located in Lam, 14 miles from Drachenhöhle Museum, zeitlang by Rösslwirt provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I went to Zeitlang with my mum for a couple of days to relax and explore the Bavarian Forest. The place is even better looking than in the photos. We also upgraded to a suite, so we had a double bed and a sofa bed (also double), fully equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was great - everything fresh and staff were very attentive to refill anything immediately. The little spa area was very modern, clean and relaxing. The town Lam itself has a couple of restaurants to choose from - we always went to Roesslwirt across the street, where you could get Bavarian food, as well as more modern food (including veggie options). It's beneficial to have a care when going there, as we took day trips around the area from Lam to see local sights, e.g. the dragon in Furth im Wald, etc. 10/10 recommend this place.

I feel a bit odd writing this review as my family and I were at the tail end of a long vacation which spanned several countries. Bottom line, this was a one day and done visit - I do wish we could have spent more time here. The area, and the hotel grounds are quite impressive. The little down of Waldeck in the Upper Palatinate is something taken from a post card. The surrounding area is .. well, down right gorgeous.
Great location right in the city center and next to the cathedral. Very nice employees all over the place. Fantastic breakfast with incredible view. Very comfortable and super large bed. And check out at 12. Everything just great!
The location is perfect as it is just in the heart of the city, and the view from the hotel is splendid. The reception is opened 24/7, and it is perfect as the night city life is extremely lively) the room was absolutely spacious, and the bathroom was spotless.

We stayed at Brauereigasthof-Jakob for one night only but we enjoyed it a lot! We stayed at an apartment that was very well furnished, clean and cozy. We had dinner at the restaurant there. All the food was fantastic! But I highly recommend their basil sorbet - it is so, so delicious! It is definitely a must-try :) The hotel is in the center of Nittenau, next to the church and the river. It is very nice location for a small walk with a view after dinner.
This is an excellent hotel where everything works properly. The evening buffet with drinks included is excellent value, and the breakfast is first class. A little above my usual budget but well worth it.

We really liked everything and everyone involved. We thought breakfast and dinner were fabulous. Views of the Bavarian countryside from the restaurant and our room with balcony were splendid. Excellent outdoor areas for swimming and lounging. Sunsets at dinner were nature at its best. Food always high quality, fresh and beautifully served with a wide selection for all tastes. For breakfast, self service was easy and quick. Table service, for breakfast and dinner was fast and professional. Those serving us were very friendly and very capable. Our room was lovely. Beautifully desecrated, spacious, with a two person bathroom (separate Loo) and very large Smart TV's. Super comfortable bed. Cleaners left everything spotless. Birkenhof is a tribute to the professionalism of its owners and staff. Five stars are not enough. What more could one want?

My kids really enjoyed staying here, they loved the buffet, the pool and the kid friendly atmosphere. For a family break this hotel is a good option. The standards of cleanliness were excellent.
