Romantik Hotel Zur Glocke is located in the Mitte district in Trier, directly in the pedestrian zone, 2 walking minutes from the main market and the famous Porta Nigra. we liked everything. It was generously appointed, spotlessly clean and the location could not have been better. I liked that it had character and there was an excellent restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was generous and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Clean, spacious, modern and right in the vineyard. Staff were v helpful in getting our cases to the second floor and down again. Wine available via honesty bar at v reasonable prices. Room had balcony overlooking vineyard. Great breakfast

A lot of breakfast choices, all very good, all fresh. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Rooms were among the cleanest I have ever seen in any hotel in the world. This hotel was outstanding in every way.

This hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel is very well located in Kröv, from there you can visit other places in the mosel. The hotel is very good decorated and everything feels like a cabin in the woods.
