We are looking forward to returning to Rinconcito Lodge! The whole place is comfortable, we liked our junior mountain suite very much, the staff friendly and helpful, food is very good with an easy-going schedule so we only ate two meals a day, perfect for us. The nesting colony of montezuma oropendola birds at the entrance is amazing! Westayed 4 nights And I’m glad we did. This allowed us to rest one day, then took the combo tour on our second day - Horseback ride into the Santa Maria part of the park, wonderful fun and private uncrowded zip line tour with our guides Jose and Ronald, and continued further into the park on horse guided by Terencio who took us deeper into the park eventually on foot to the warm springs river and waited very patiently while we had lunch there and enjoyed the warm waters. he even helped us with the mud. our third day we drove ourselves into the Pailas sector of the park and did our own hiking tour. Rinconcito is a peaceful place with no pressure. as far as we can tell the rooms are all very nice with a range of qualities from smaller rooms close together to the more separate mountain suites that we stayed in. oh a great trail on the property to a waterfall we swam under too.

Absolutely calm and remote, good view from the private terrace. Nice pool. Super friendly and helpful host. Large rooms.

Such a beautiful place! I regret we didn't stay longer! The cabins are well equipped, beds are comfortable, everything very clean. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a pond and many many plants and trees. We also enjoyed our breakfast while watching hummingbirds. Not too complicated to find, but Google maps was sometimes a bit confused and sent us on a unnecessary detour.

Hacienda Guachipelin Volcano Ranch Hotel & Hot Springs is located at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, in north-west Costa Rica. The property is beautiful and lots of things to do on the property. We only checked out 2 of them because the others requires a long hike and our kids don’t like to hike too long. Food was delicious

Located in the beautiful countryside near Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Casa Rural Aroma de Campo is a quaint B&B with on-site natural springs and a kitchen serving delicious Costa Rican cuisine. Ffantastic place with very friendly hosts. We had meals at the place both nights and they were fantastic.

Located in Guayabos, Pochote Lodge has free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The owners were truly awesome and made us feel very welcome! The premises is surrounded by nature and Veronica and Francisco showed us monkeys and toucans living close by. If you want to experience wildlife right next door, this is your place to stay!
