Breakfast was quite good, fruits + hot beverage + juice + eggs + bread... they were very attentive and went out of their way to improve the experience, i.e. giving extra hot water for my sweet hot chocolate. Or letting us leave the car for a bit inside their parking lot after the checkout. They are also honest about conditions at the desert if it's raining, length of the trips and recommendations with guides.

This is the place you’re looking for if you want to be surrounded by stunning landscape yet feeling at home thanks to the amazing staff. We got a transportation service from Neiva and a tour where Ferney, walked us through the stunning architecture of the desert. John Camilo (and Berlin!) is the best host, very welcoming and accommodating and all the staff really. The cabin is comfortable, with everything you need and very clean. At night you can enjoy stargazing and the pool is really a plus considering the hot temperature. Highly recommend!

My stay was truly memorable! The food, thanks to Gina, was amazing – a culinary delight. Interacting with the local people provided a unique experience. Although the hotel isn’t finished, the potential is evident; it’ll be amazing once completed. The owners were incredibly helpful, answering my countless questions even in stressful moments. They went the extra mile, picking us up and organizing a fantastic Tatacoa desert excursion with Jairo. His local restaurant recommendation away from tourists was a highlight. Can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at Qji Glamping biohotel. The staff were so friendly and made such a difference to our stay. They helped organise transport to the deserts and back to Villavieja. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all the meals were delicious. Our hut exceeded expectations! It was clean and fresh, the hammock neck was the best place to chill out, especially to watch the stars at night. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and truly visit Tatacoa desert, we couldn't recommend staying here more.
Conveniently situated 20 minutes away in a tuk tuk to Tatacoa Desert and 5 minutes to one of the surrounding astronomical observatories, this beautiful and quiet hotel was a brilliant stay in Villavieja. Friendly staff who emulate the openness and kindness of the rest of the small town, this place had a lovely clean pool, room and working air conditioning which is important in the humidity of the area. And fantastic breakfasts!
The hotel is perfectly located to visit the Tatacoa desert nearby. Room with Air Con are prefect to rest after a long day in the desert. Wi-Fi connection is available and perfectly working. Recomended
