In a bike trip across Switzerland with stays in 10 different hotels, this was easily our favorite. Not fancy or at all pretentious. Just super friendly and relaxed with a drop dead view.

Rooms have recently been remodled and are updated, mountain modern and fresh. The fruiet bowl was a nice surprise in the room at check in. The views are outstanding. The breakfast was the best I've had so far on this trip.

Amazing hotel to visit with young kids, they’ve really thought of everything to entertain them (and give parents a break), our daughter loved it. Beautiful location with amazing views of the valley and mountains.

Seminarhotel Lihn enjoys a quiet location in Filzbach on the Kerenzerberg plateau. It offers panoramic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten mountain and free Wi-Fi. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was very clean. No options to eat dinner nearby, so make a plan before you get there or eat at the hotel.

The location is amazing. The staff are super welcoming and very hospitable. Made to feel welcome. The rooms are modern, very nicely done in terms of the interior design. Best hotel ever with regard to having power sockets available all throughout the room. Makes charging phones so easy. same for the restaurant. You can plug in up or phone charger at your table. Totally well done. Other hotels don’t even come close in being so good, so well thought through. Best value for money for a hotel room in Switzerland.

Among the facilities at this property are an ATM and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property.... I most of all liked the tidiness and cleanliness; also I really appreciated the hotel owners who were really kind and accommodating, friendly.

Set at the entrance of the Glarus Alps, lintharena ag enjoys a quiet location in Näfels. It offers rooms with private bathrooms and cable TV as well as 4 bed rooms with shared bathroom on the floor. Great facilities, if you stay here you can make use of the swimming pool and spa (including saunas for free). Also well located with a bus stop in front of the door, with buses to the Näfels and Ziegelbrücke train stations (for connections to Zürich and Glarus) and to Mühlehorn (for the Walensee). Alternatively it's a 15 min walk to the train station. Also if you stay two nights, you get your train tickets for free from the local tourist authority (make sure to apply for this at least 4 days in advance, search for "ÖV-Anreise Glarnerland").
