Hotel Platzl is located in the village of Auffach in the Wildschönau high valley, just 394 feet from the cable car to the Schatzberg ski resort. From the very first moment we arrived the staff of this hotel looked after us from start to finish. From breakfast to the dinner, the sevice and quality was excellent. The pool on hot evenings was really appreciated. Information on what to do and where to go was plentiful. Really great place to stay in a fantastic part of Austria.

Nice apartment, kitchen with everything you need. Pool was nice for kids. Catherine was very nice and helpful. We were a big group with kids

Hotel & Alpin Lodge Der Wastlhof is located in the Wildschönau area, directly at Markbachjoch Cable Car and the ski slopes. Staffs were really friendly and nice. Breakfast and Buffet dinner was really good, they also had a late snacks till 5:00 PM whaich was really nice. The Buffet dinner and late evening snacks was for 22 Euros which was really affordble.

Surrounded by the majestic Kitzbühel Alps, this small and intimate country house hotel enjoys a wonderful location in the Roggenboden holiday village in Oberau/Wildschönau. Rainer and Uschi made us feel part of the family after just a few days - they made the extra effort to pick us up from the bus stop, gave an attentive, personal service and were there for all our questions. Would recommend very highly and will definitely be back!

Just 1312 feet from the Niederau Cable Car, this 4-star hotel in the Wildschönau Valley is surrounded by mountains and forests. It offers a spa area with 2 indoor pools. The hospitality from the staff was exceptional, the best we have seen in a very long time. There were so many thoughtful touches from the housekeeping staff that made our stay that much more comfortable. We picked the dinner and breakfast package, which was spot on, and the restaurant had a very friendly atmosphere. We even made some new friends with those that we were sat next to. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps, Hotel Bergkristall is set in a peaceful location, 1.2 mi from the Schatzberg Ski Area. Breakfast was excellent with the range and choice of food and drinks. Service was fantastic too.

Featuring a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath and a hot tub, the Hotel Schneeberger is located in the center of Wildschönau-Niederau. The next ski elevator is 984 feet away. The hotel was pristine--super clean. The rooms were large and very comfortably appointed with wonderful balconies and amazing views of the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of breads, cereals, nuts, jam, scrambled and boiled eggs, plus sliced meats. And the coffee was excellent! Niederau is a small village with several hotels but not much else. It appeared that nearly every hotel has its own restaurant so finding food in town wasn't a problem. We went for the Almatreib in Auffauch which was about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. It's a beautiful little town to relax and enjoy the lovely views.
