Hotel Platzl is located in the village of Auffach in the Wildschönau high valley, just 394 feet from the cable car to the Schatzberg ski resort. The sound isolation in the hotel was excellent, it was quiet in the room nevertheless there was an event on the ground floor. Thick curtains didn't let the daylight in the room so it was comfortable to sleep. The interior and furniture were tasteful. Quite spacious bathroom. Nice garden surrounding the hotel. Excellent and tasty breakfast, wide assortment of food, also warm buffet.

Hotel & Alpin Lodge Der Wastlhof is located in the Wildschönau area, directly at Markbachjoch Cable Car and the ski slopes. Staffs were really friendly and nice. Breakfast and Buffet dinner was really good, they also had a late snacks till 5:00 PM whaich was really nice. The Buffet dinner and late evening snacks was for 22 Euros which was really affordble.

Surrounded by the majestic Kitzbühel Alps, this small and intimate country house hotel enjoys a wonderful location in the Roggenboden holiday village in Oberau/Wildschönau. Rainer and Uschi made us feel part of the family after just a few days - they made the extra effort to pick us up from the bus stop, gave an attentive, personal service and were there for all our questions. Would recommend very highly and will definitely be back!

Just 1312 feet from the Niederau Cable Car, this 4-star hotel in the Wildschönau Valley is surrounded by mountains and forests. It offers a spa area with 2 indoor pools. Food was really good and well presented. We had a choice of three main courses each night and always a beautiful soup. Room was very spacious, with a lovely view of the snow covered mountains. Immaculately cleaned each day. The Spa facilities were perfect to use after a day skiing(pool, sauna and steam room). The bar had a really good atmosphere and the staff Andrea and Manu provided an excellent friendly service. The spacious ski/boot room was ideal to store our gear on an evening.

Surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps, Hotel Bergkristall is set in a peaceful location, 1.2 mi from the Schatzberg Ski Area. Breakfast was excellent with the range and choice of food and drinks. Service was fantastic too.

Featuring a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath and a hot tub, the Hotel Schneeberger is located in the center of Wildschönau-Niederau. The next ski elevator is 984 feet away. The hotel was pristine--super clean. The rooms were large and very comfortably appointed with wonderful balconies and amazing views of the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of breads, cereals, nuts, jam, scrambled and boiled eggs, plus sliced meats. And the coffee was excellent! Niederau is a small village with several hotels but not much else. It appeared that nearly every hotel has its own restaurant so finding food in town wasn't a problem. We went for the Almatreib in Auffauch which was about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. It's a beautiful little town to relax and enjoy the lovely views.
