Hotel Alpenhof lies in Bach, 3 km from the Großarl-Dorfgastein Ski Amade. Klaus is exceptional. Friendly accommodating and professional. The attention to detail are fabulous throughout the Hotel. The staff are great too and very helpful when the children had minor food requests. The chef is outstanding, the quality of the food impressive and delicious. The rooms are really comfortable and decorated tastefully. Spacious and stylish, with sizeable balconies. We are a big family group of all ages on a skiing holiday, celebrating the Christmas break. The New Years Eve celebrations were wonderful, Klaus put on a lovely Gala Dinner with multiple courses starting with a glass of Champagne, ending with beer fresh from the kegs, fireworks and midnight buffet. The Goulash is so tasty. Perfectly located for the Ski Schools and slopes. I would recommend the Hotel to everyone.

Completely extended in April 2018 and located in the centre of Großarl in the Ski Amadé region, Berg-Leben features a large, top-floor spa area. The cable car is just a short walk away. Friendly staff, delicious food, specious room.

Good hotel, but the main point here - it is EXCEPTIONAL sauna. I put below some pictures of it. Finnish sauna, wet sauna, turkish hammam, spacious rest area with water beds, tea corner, everything brand new! Of course, you got bathrobe, towels etc. Good breakfast and dinner (we took half board). Clean and spacious room with balcony. Friendly staff. Parking.

The owner was very kind. In the morning, he greeted us wearing a traditional costume - it added charm. The view from the window was great.
