We cannot recommend this place enough! Its one of the best travel experiences we ever had!

Lovely warm welcome from the owner and he told us that there was a pool as well. You can ask for the sauna but we didn’t want it. Great breakfast and tea available whenever I wanted it. Also biker friendly. Close enough for the attractions at Gosau but a better price

This large hotel is located on the edge of Gosau village, within the Dachstein West ski region. All spacious rooms have a balcony, overlooking the surrounding mountains. Fantastic hotel, loved our stay at Vitalhotel Gosau. Comfy beds, spacious room with balcony and lovely towels and bath robes. They offer a summer card which entitles for a lot of reduced fare activities. The staff were extremely nice and willing to help. The room was tidied up every day. I strongly recommend Vitalhotel to anyone who's searching for quality time and peace of mind.

This place is just fantastic! Wonderful location for exploring Dachstein West & Salzburg regions. Lammerklamm & Gosausee are so close, while Hallstatt, Dachstein & St.Wolfgang are easy day trips. It’s only a 5 minute walk into beautiful Russbach as well. The apartment is spotless, modern and provides stunning views. The ski lift is literally across the road. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Loved it!

What a lovely place! Very nice apartment far away from all rush. But very close (5mins by car) to closest ski resort Dachstein West (parking and ski-bahn place)... Super clean and perfectly equiped with such a amazing host -Maria. Beautiful views, nice balcony, superb bathroom. It is usefull having privat room for ski and ski-shoes. Highly recommended!
Russbach am Pass Gschütt
Great location, very friendly owners. cozy and quiet place. Our children enjoyed every day unique apres-ski - farm animals feeding. We also enjoyed sledging on the hill next to the farm. Skilift is just 1.5km away, 3 mins drive only. Dachstein West is great resort for families with children. We come here every year.
A wonderful apartment which is ideal to stay at for skiing Dachstein West.
It was the best hotel for me, with the stream passing behind the hotel. The location is excellent, the room was very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had a late check in and the receptionist left everything for us so that we won't have any problems. The breakfast is good and the dinner is excellent. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Excellent location in the West Dachstein area - good starting point for visiting the main places in the mountains of the Salzkammergut region. Placed higher in the valley with great views of the mountains. Very supportive staff, excellent food!

Gosau area is wonderful, we visit it not for the first time, and we for sure will come back. Gosau lake is in just several minutes of drive; The Laser via Ferrata is highly recommended ! Ans also other ferratas in the area
Very good location with fantastic view from the room balcony. Excellent breakfast with a wide viriety of food and drinks. Friendly staff. We got a small room on the second floor with a roof view and asked to change it. We got a bigger room with a fantastic view on the valley. They also suggested a better rout for our trip, that really helped.
The place is clean and comfortable. Very close to the trails and the lake. Close by there is also Moosalm where you can have a beer and eat 😃. Will be definitely coming back!

The room was very pretty and also its unique smell . Moreover, the view of large gosau lake at the balcony was worthy memorable !
A very nice location, we had a room with a balcony. It was absolutely nice. The staff were so friendly. The bathroom is small but which is far enough. The restaurant is open until 22:00. Food and breakfast was also good. I think the property deserves more ratings than the current (while posting 6.9).
- Great location 10mins from the Gosausee. - Very clean and comfy apartment, huge terrace with a very scenic view to mountains. - Breakfast was great, stuff was polite and helpful.
Very nice, spacy, and clean chalet with appropriate equipment in beautiful environment. Pool&sauna option is a great bonus. Small shop also very practical. We liked the stay very much :)
This has got to be one of the best places we stayed in during our 3 week roadtrip through Europe. The host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay as fantastic as it was was. The view from the balcony was astonishing. Would certainly stay again if I were to ever visit this area again. Thank you so much.
