In a peaceful countryside location in the Attergau region, Landgasthof Spitzerwirt is 3.7 mi from Lake Attersee. The restaurant serves classic Austrian cuisine made from regional products. Nice traditional Austrian hotel. The interior is a bit dated - especially the bathrooms - but the rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable and I had a nice balcony. The room was clean and the breakfast had everything you could wish for. The best thing was the owner though. He was super friendly and accommodating.

The hotel sits on a green hill and enjoys a breathtaking, first-row view of the valley below and of the lake - especially from the generous terrace used for breakfasts and dinners. Our 3-night stay was absolutely great. We felt welcome right away as we were so lucky to get upgraded to a family suite with view on the lake by the management. So did our dog who stayed with us and enjoyed the green, pristine hills surrounding the hotel, to the point of meeting - and chasing - a deer on her first walk at our arrival. The hotel management seems family-run and was exceptionally friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. Altogether an amazing value for the money! The Attersee lake - just a few minutes drive - with its clear, turquoise waters and green, mountainous surroundings overwhelmed our senses. And so did the city of Salzburg just a 40min drive away. We can only recommend this hotel!

Nice and clean hotel, friendly and helpful receptionist, also good location, amazing views and very nice pool. Breakfast is excellent and all the service was great.

In a quiet countryside location a 5-minute drive from the shore of Lake Attersee, Landhotel Waldmühle features a garden with a children’s playground. Free WiFi is available. I liked that they have horses, ducks, bunnies, cats and a doggo. Love how friendly and helpful and accommodating the entire staff is. The host family is lovely! The location is beautiful, behind the mountains, so close to the lake Atersee...5min by car, Wolfgangsee is 26min by car and Mondsee also something like 28min by car. The breakfast is served buffet style and from the croissant to the omelette to the yogurt to the juice to the bread...oh the bread.....so so so good. The fruits as well, everything fresh and deliciously prepared. Very comfortable and cozy outside with the chairs and swings, me and Lucky sat there outside enjoying the nice weather and beautiful view. The beds are comfortable and the shower is ok, maybe a tiny tiny bit box would be great, but the shower pressure was good too....The bed was comfortable for me who like a bit more to softer side....was great I slept like a baby... The hotel is decorated in a very cozy and nice style. I forgot..the balcony has no light but is solved by leaving the bedroom light on...I loved everything about this hotel and I cannot wait to come again asap. Book early cus is always sold out...we got so lucky to get this hotel in high season for an affordable price.

An old villa in a beautiful park with artwork and with a lake in front. Breakfast and snacks and drinks by the lake. Never experienced such variety and quality food. Felt and was all like homemade ♥️♥️♥️

Located in Nussdorf am Attersee, Lexenhof has been family-run since 1447. The property is just 1312 feet from Attersee Lake and has access to a public beach area, which has a beach bar. Great location; Great Hotel and a great friendly service. Any time again :)

Hotel Lohninger-Schober enjoys a quiet location near St. Georgen, in the northern Salzkammergut region. The service was very everyone very nice. And the breakfast was good nice selection.
