Our Spa Pumacahua Bath House is a colonial house from the seventeenth century located on one side of the hotel’s corn terraces. Rescued by our restoration and archeology team, it contains the hotel Spa where our guests can enjoy massages, the swimming pool, hot tubs and saunas. We wanted to have 2 days of relaxing (without too much visit) and Explora option B&B was just the perfect option for this break. Location is beautiful, staff excellent and very nice commodities

The grounds, location, comfort, and hospitality of the staff were above and beyond. We especially liked the hike to the Salineras de Maras and walking around Urubamba. The food was tasty and we even ate dinner outside near the firepit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Rio Sagrado to anyone looking to stay in the Sacred Valley.

Dan (hotel manager) and his team did everything possible to make me and my family welcome and comfortable. He gave us advice on where to go, what to see and eat. The hotel has everything you require from the swimming pool on the terrace, sauna, great food to clean spacious rooms. It has lots of wash basin’s dotted around and space to eat in another area if you are concerned about covid. The location is excellent amongst rural beauty and surrounded by the andes mountains. It’s about 15 minute taxi ride into Ollantaytambo and 20 mins to Urubamba. Dan made us feel welcome and part of the Life Hotel family. Definitely would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the scared valley.
