Facilities include a thermal-heated swimming pool, poolside bar, shared barbecue facilities and laundry. The room was excellent having all the required amenities and most of the facilities were quite modern. We loved the thermal pool and it allowed us to relax after a busy day out. The bed was very comfortable and we recommend this property highly!

ALD would be the cleanest holiday accommodation we have ever stayed at. Friendly hosts, but not intrusive. Breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection of spreads and cereals. Loved the bowl of fruit. Quiet and private.

The pool, the barbecue, the lovely host, and we were also extended the option to stay one more day, and I really wish we could (the next property was already booked). Everything was perfect, would love to stay again if I'm ever around.

Ideally located just 5 minutes' drive from Whitianga town centre, WoodyHanger Lodge features views over Mercury Bay and is just metres away from native bush. It boasts an outdoor pool with bay views. Free WiFi is offered. The location was incredible, but was matched by the facilities and the hospitality of Warren and Carol. The room was excellent and we enjoyed the view so much we got take out from town and came back to eat out on the balcony. The breakfast was perfect. We really wish we could have stayed longer
