The motel is centrally located, a 2-minute drive or an easy walk to the town centre, supermarket, cafés and restaurants, stadium, gyms, pool, information centre, railway station and riverside walk. In addition, Marlborough's many fabulous wineries and walking and bike trails are only a short drive away. It is also a 15 minute drive to the airport and a 25-minute drive to the Picton ferry terminal. The hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful.

Ugbrooke Country Estate is set in Lower Dashwood in the Marlborough Region, 37 km from Picton. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Alex and Peter were so friendly and kind. Their dogs are very friendly too. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed a very nice dinner. We even pet their horses! What a place! We enjoyed the many conversations about life in New Zealand.

The location was wonderful, the hosts Hugh and Caro were very welcoming and even helped us to book reservations for dinner and gave us a lift into town. The breakfasts prepared by Caro was excellent, we both enjoyed our time greatly.
