The manager works at the barbershop right next to the house, thus easy to reach out to. You may get free barber service if you want. I had a great hair cut there. It was an unforgettable experiance.

The view from the hotel was spectacular. It was a quick and easy drive to Nordheimsund, which is where many tours take off. Like many other hotels in Norway, there is a wide and excellent selection for breakfast. Something for everyone. We had to leave earlier on our final morning before the start of breakfast but they had everything set out for us to self-serve. The restaurant was delicious but a bit pricey. This is typical of Norway, however. The pool at the connecting sports facility was convenient and fun.

The restaurant offers views of the fjord, while the garden lies right next to the water. Other facilities include a conservatory and a library lounge. An outdoor sauna and hot tub facing the fjord, and an indoor pool are also available at Brakanes Hotel. Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

Hotel Norge by Scandic is located in central Bergen, just next to Byparken city park. Guests will find 3 floors of bars, lounge areas and restaurants. The airport shuttle bus and the city light rail system stop just next to the hotel. Bergen Fish And Flower Market is just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel is in perfect location - all most important attractions are easily reached by foot. Very cozy room, comfortable beds, clean environment. I really liked that I could cast videos from my phone to TV!
