Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a balcony overlooking the Gurib River bed. It has an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi access, and nature drives can be arranged. The place is a jewel in the middle of nowhere but had every comfort. It was quirky and imaginative and the attention to detail was absolutely perfect. We wanted to meet Hilde to chat about her lithops but was unfortunately away. Frikkie looked after us so well. We had a perfect and restful time in the wonderful chalets. Lots of wildlife and the largest flock of guinea fowl. Highly recommended for the excellent food (both dinner and breakfast) and the attentive staff. We missed a scenic drive as a sandstorm was blowing but meant we had more time to enjoy the room.

The campground has an outdoor fireplace and a children's playground. Beautiful campsite, best shower we have ever had. The owner is very nice and made us bread and gave us products from his farm to eat, which were delicious. We loved it!
