The room was very clean and was homely. Secondly, the food was excellent and our family enjoyed all the dishes, specially the crab curry. Alcohol was not that great. My wife ordered a drink with Arack ( green in color). It was overly sweet and pretty much had no alcohol in the drink. Draft beer was great. Thirdly, the room design was excellent and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The hotel provided accommodation for my driver, for which I am thankful. I will definitely visit again.

A gorgeous traditional home converted into a boutique hotel with four rooms - perfect for a group or solo/couple travellers. Beautifully styled and managed by a delightful and attentive staff team ready to cater to any request or give local guidance. The swimming pool was the perfect oasis after a day of exploring steamy Jaffna. Special thanks to Mathci, Sutha and Niranjan. Oh and great food too - but please be aware most food is prepared off site which makes total sense - so just relax go with the flow. It’s worth the wait.
Swimming pool and the room and location
Helpful property manager (Mathushan) who was always around and willing to assist. Fantastic Jaffna breakfast served when ordered the night before. Clean indoor swimming pool (though not very deep) to help relieve from the Jaffna sun. Great rooms and bathroom. Interesting local art/photos on the walls as well.
Very central hotel. Lovely swimming pool. Bed was comfortable and the room big and cool, though somewhat tired in the decor. The new shower was the best so far in Sri Lanka - proper pressure and warm to boot!! The breakfasts were lovely - buffet style, hot and tasty. There was a lot of shouting going on in the kitchen which made for a very funny Fawlty Towers breakfast - everytime the waitress came out she was as cool as a cucumber, but when she went back, merry hell would break out!!!!!
The swimming pool was clean and delightful for an early morning swim. The room service was prompt and helpful with tuning the tv.

Perfect location (Tempel&Rio), nice staff, great swimming pool to cool in super heat. It is ideal for families. Everyone in hotel was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were lovely location is great. rooms are very clean and nice. The swimming pool and outdoor areas are also lovely.
Nice garden, room was nicely furnished and modern with all of necessary amenities, air conditioning was super efficient to cool the room in a few minutes only, lovely swimming pool, the staff especially Trevin was fabulous and so was the food at the restaurant. We would definitely return to the Fox resort if we return to Jaffna.
