From the reception to our room attendant - everyone was overly polite and kind. The room was amazing (with private onsen) - very spacious, traditional style and an amazing view. The private onsen experience is well worth the money and I can only recommend it. Kaiseki dinner was private in our room - the food was fresh, interesting and tasty. Breakfast was a buffet, there was both japanese and western style breakfast - both were delicious. Overall, visiting an onsen town and trying traditional kaiseki dinner is an amazing experience that everyone visiting Japan has to experience and the Nishimuraya Hotel in Kinosaki onsen is a great place to do that.

The food was delicious, the staff were attentive and helpful, the location was beautiful and the house and grounds were amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the onsen.
