My partner and I wanted her to adopt us but realised that’s not something you can ask to people generally. I really recommend the Hydge lodge, especially if you go as a couple. It is very relaxing and as I described earlier, our host was amazing and kind.

We loved the stunning views of Lake Annecy and that we were away from the larger towns. The room had a spectacular view. The breakfast was great (again with a view) and the staff made sure everything was fresh. The spa and indoor pool was very relaxing as were the outdoor sunbeds. Eva helped us book restaurants and showed us around the chalet. She was a wealth of knowledge. We really didn’t want to leave when it was time.
Very quiet and wonderful place for family holiday with kids. The host family is very friendly. The swimming pool is additional attractive point.

Indoor swimming pool was nice, and good size. The location is good for walking down to the lake, and the weather allowed even a quick swim in October. The balcony was a good size and enjoyable, though sunshade might be necessary in summer.
