We travelled from Prague by train on Friday evening and left our work aches behind for the weekend. The Receptionist was so helpful as we were quickly booked in and we immediately went to enjoy a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. From start to finish our weekend could not have been better. We had a lovely relaxing time in the spa and excellent massages. We stayed in the exclusive 2 bedroomed apartment and it really was beautifully designed, perfectly clean and extremely comfortable. We will definitely return!

Plenty of hot water, great wifi and having a bar right next door was a plus for a great beer after a long day of driving around South Bohemia. :-) The owners live right upstairs and were able to come to the rescue immediately when the microwave blew a fuse and plunged us into temporary darkness. But no harm, no foul - that's the nature of the electric age we live in! The owner was right there with a replacement machine and we were back to making popcorn in minutes! The village is small but cute and I highly recommend you visit the local microbrewery if you can...or at least grab a glass or two from the bar. The historic town of Trebon is a short 12 minute drive away, or easy to access by the amazing bicycle trails in the area. We wished we could visit the chateau next door, but it's only open in July or August, so for all of that...5 stars for the U Zamku!
