Our room was beautiful, spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. We had a refrigerator and a nice patio. The grounds were gorgeous; the staff, especially Christiana and Sedacy were so attentive; and the restaurant had wonderful food, awesome drinks and happy hour! The view from the restaurant is spectacular and FL is next door to Cahal Pesh, which is a must visit Mayan Archeology Site, and a short walk from town. We would definitely come back to Falling Leaves!

We absolutely loved the traditional food. The town was 1.5 km away. We walked it a couple times and it was great exercise!! They were also very helpful with any questions we had

Vanilla Hills Resort offers spacious bungalows located in the lush tropical jungle outside of San Ignacio. It is a short walk from the Mopan River and offers free Wi-Fi and parking.

Each bungalow here features cozy wooden décor and comes equipped with a seating area, a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. They also have a private terrace overlooking the gardens. The tree house accommodations were so beautiful and serene. There was a pond with a water fountain which made for great white noise to sleep to, along with the nature sounds of the jungle. The breakfast available for purchase was delicious - a big menu with something for everyone. The staff helped arrange a tour to the ATM cave, with transportation included. I would recommend Vanilla Hills Lodge if you're considering staying in the San Ignacio area! We had a rental care to get around the area which I recommend, but also met people who had all transportation coordinated by the lodge and they were also very pleased.

We enjoyed everything during our stay. The food was amazing, our room was incredible, the bed was super soft. Even though our stay was short, we enjoyed kayaking in the river, going on a bike ride, and hiking up 300ft to see an outstanding view of the Sleeping Giant. Definitely planning a longer stay next time!

The location was perfect, like an oasis in the jungle, the pool was fantastic and the room was very tastefully decorated with everything we could need.
